Ages 3 years – 6 yearsOur Children’s House is a Montessori preschool and nursery for ages 3 to 6, built around the five areas of Montessori work: practical life, sensorial, language, mathematics and cultural studies. Guided by AMI-trained educators, children move at their own pace while building concentration, coordination and curiosity.
What to expect in our Children’s House classroom
Our Children’s House classroom brings the five areas of Montessori work under one roof: practical life, sensorial, language, mathematics and cultural studies. Children choose their own work, move at their own pace, and return to a piece of material as many times as they need to master it. What grows out of that freedom, held within real structure, is concentration, independence and a genuine love of learning.
The child who has felt a strong love for his surroundings and for all living creatures, who has discovered joy and enthusiasm in work, gives us reason to hope that humanity can develop in a new direction.

Every Classroom Led by an AMI-Certified Guide
Montessori is not a protected term in Nigeria. A school can put it on a gate, buy a few wooden toys, and run an ordinary classroom behind it. AMI is the Association Montessori Internationale, established by Maria Montessori in 1929 to prevent exactly that. Its diplomas are externally examined and remain the most rigorous Montessori qualification in the world. Every lead guide at Aquila Nidus holds one for the age group they work with, and so does our founder. It is the one claim about a Montessori school you can actually check, which is why we put it in front of you first.
